About Default Parent

Default Parent is a shared routine and Today planning app for parents and guardians. It helps households coordinate child routines, daily tasks, invites, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, and family history.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the information you add to your family account. Only invite adults you trust to view and update your family routines.

Family Content

You keep responsibility for the routines, notes, child profile details, and other family content you add. Please do not add sensitive information unless it is genuinely needed for household coordination.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are handled through the relevant app store, such as Apple in-app purchases or Google Play Billing. Prices and renewal terms are shown before purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings. One Premium subscription is intended to unlock Premium features for the family account.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use Default Parent for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
• Do not try to access another family account without permission.
• Do not interfere with the app, API, security, subscriptions, or infrastructure.

Availability

We aim to keep Default Parent reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Family logistics still need human judgement, especially for urgent, medical, safeguarding, or safety-critical situations.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app develops. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to make them visible.
